TAKE LESSONS

I teach private lessons for all ages and levels in piano, theory, and composition. I've taught at Greater Austin Music Academy for 9 years, and also travel to students' homes to teach them there. For my availability, get in touch at trevorvillwock@gmail.com or (512) 820-9705.

I truly love teaching music and thoroughly enjoy seeing my students discover new things and get excited about them. I strive to give students solid musical and technical foundations while exploring the music that motivates them the most.

I take a hands-on approach to music theory, combining visual, aural, and kinesthetic modes of learning to master building blocks of music like intervals and chords. I also incorporate improvisation to help students  develop their inner creativity.​

 

I expect all my regular students to put their full effort into practice and lessons, but I believe learning music should be fun, rewarding, and exciting! Above all I want my studio to be a supportive, welcoming, and chill environment.

My base rate is $60 for a 30 minute lesson, but I'm willing to adjust a bit if that's not doable. 45 minute lessons are also available.
